Cliff
Island School is a one-room elementary
school accommodating Kindergarten through fifth grade. The school
house was built in 1895 serving an average enrollment of 20 -30
students. In the early '70's, facing declining enrollment, the islanders
renovated a house and asked a family to move in. Today the residents
face the same situation; several years they ago started a campaign
